In this tutorial i will explain how to create a soft text effect using photoshop and its blending options. This is a Beginner level tutorial so anyone can try and replicate my results.

Step1:
Click ok, using the Type Tool  change the text color to #2a2b39 and write something in the workarea. I used the windsong font, you can use what ever font you like.
Step2:
Right click on the Text Layer and convert it to a smart Object.
Click on Filter > Gaussian Blur
Change the Radius to 2.4 pixels and click ok. Now right click on the text layer and select Blending Option
Step3:
Click on Drop Shadow and select the settings below.
Select Color Overlay and apply the settings below.
With that you will get the effect below.
