How to root SGT

In this tutorial you will teach you how to how to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab using z4root.1.3.0.apk a program created by RyanZA. It is very simple to do just couple click and you are finish. Remember you do this process at your own risk.

Download and place the file into your phone, click here. I place it on my sdcard it can also be stored on the phones memory. To upload the file into your phone you will need to sync the Galaxy tab using the supplied usb cable as shown below.

USB Debugging

In the taskbar click on USB connected

Doing this will bring the option below up. Click on mount

The folder will open up on your computer, just drag and drop the file into your tablet. Unmount the tablet and browse to where you place the file. Click on the file and install z4root.1.3.0.apk

Once installed click on Applications and you will see the icon below. Click on it and you will see the options below.

Click Permanent Root and let the program run, it may take 6 minutes or less. Once its completed you tablet will automatically reboot. Once rebooted your phone will be rooted.

Go into the application and look for the icon below.
