Feel free to test out this new tutorial its very simple and easy to follow. Its a simple Gallery tutorial, similar to the gallery located here. The images are being stored in a php database, and using dreamweaver and its php functions you will be able to display the content on your site. To update the images you will have to go through myAdmin and insert the new information. Click here to view and follow the tutorial.

Custom Sounds

In this tutorial you will teach you how to create custom sounds and tones for your iphone. Your phone has to be Jailbroken with winterboard installed.

Alphanumeric Password

Step 1:

Download WINSCP
Download iTunnel
Download wavepad (http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html)
On your iPhone search cydia for OpenSSH, download and install this software. Install each software.

Step 2:

Go into Folder Options and uncheck "Hide Extensions for known file types"

Step 3:

Create a folder with the name "Trick Digest.theme" this name can be anything, but with the .theme extension. In the theme folder create another folder with the name UISounds. The name is important it has to be exact. Don't worry about the wallpaper and icon files.

Now Open wave pad

Do a search on google for your favorite tone. You can try

For this tutorial i created a zip file with the tones, download this pack. When you open it you will see the files shown above. These have to be converted using WavePad into an apple format .aif or .aiff.

With WavePad open, Open one of the tone files. Click File > Open Audio File and browse to the UISounds folder. When you open the tone you will see the window above. Click File > Save File As

Save the file as Apple AIFF.

You will need to rename this file to alarm.caf as shown below.

Do this to each of the audio files.

alarm - This is your Calendar Alerts

Tock - Keyboard Click Sounds

lock - This is your lock sound

unlock - Unlock Sound

Voicemail - Voice mail sound

mail-sent - Tone for sent mail

new-mail - New mail tone

beep-beep - This is the tone when you plug the charger USB cable in.

SentMessage - Tone when you send a text message.

ReceivedMessage - Tone for text message received

Remember you have to place the files inside the UISounds folder located in the .theme folder we created earlier.

Step 4:

Open and run Make iTunnel

When you open the iTunnel window all you will see is the dos screen below.

With that window still open, Open and run winscp. Connect your iphone using the usb cable. In Winscp fill in the information shown below.

Click Login, when you click login you will see the window

Step 5:

After doing that you will see the window below, if you ssh into your iphone before using wifi you will recognize this window.

Browse to the folder below.

Place the Trick Digest.theme folder inside the Themees.JupLrs folder as shown below.

After placing the Trick Digest.theme folder inside the Themees.JupLrs folder, on the iphone go into winderboard and uncheck and check the theme you have selected. This will reload the theme and your new icons will be visable.
