Improve Battery Life

Improve iPhone battery Life

After upgrading my phone to 3.0 the battery life seemed to have suffered. I decided to play around with a few options to improve the battery life. It worked for me, the battery life improved. I used it a lot through out the day and at the end of the day the battery life is about 40 %, with EDGE on.

Step 1:

First click on Settings. Turn off wifi, if your not using it. Click on Brightness.

Adjust the brightness to about 50%, you can also turn auto brightness on.

Step 2:

Click on Mail

Click on Fetch New Data

Turn Off Push

Change the Fetch setting to Hourly or Manually. This means, your email or any program where it updates live on your phone, will only update Hourly or Manually.

Step 3:

Also, if you have a moving background change it to a static picture. The moving images as your background kills your battery life.
